On Wednesday, September 10, the Tohoku University Taiwan Alumni Association, led by Chairperson Mr. Justin Chen, hosted an alumni dinner in Taipei to celebrate its official incorporation.

President Tominaga, together with Vice Presidents Ueki and Imamura, joined the event alongside a university delegation. Following opening remarks by Mr. Chen, President Tominaga congratulated the alumni on their new corporate status and on receiving the Alumni Association Award, which will be officially celebrated later this year during Homecoming Day.

Mr. Davide Bitti, International Exchange Officer, then introduced recent activities of the Tohoku University Alumni Network and the newly established Taiwan Alumni Support Fund. The evening continued with a toast by Vice President Imamura, marking the start of a joyful celebration.

More than 40 alumni participated in the gathering, which became a wonderful opportunity to strengthen their bonds with their Alma Mater.

Tohoku University and President Tominaga look forward to welcoming the Taiwan Alumni Association delegation again in October at the Award Ceremony in Sendai.
