More than 55 students from 25 countries gathered today, Friday June 26 2026, for the second Tohoku University Alumni & Students Lunch Meeting of the 2026 academic year, organized by the Alumni & Outreach Team and represented by Officer Davide Bitti.

This edition welcomed Professor Jonathan Stimmer, Specially Appointed Senior Assistant Professor at the Career Support Center, as the special guest.He introduced the wide range of career support services available to international students, including on‑demand career seminars, individual advising, career planning support, and additional services designed to help students prepare for their future careers. He encouraged participants to make full use of these opportunities as they begin shaping their professional paths.

After the presentation, participants enjoyed an Italian‑style buffet, exchanging experiences, building new friendships, and sharing their academic journeys and aspirations in Sendai.
